Hi there Art of War members! My name is Iain McGhee, but I'm commonly known as Sprawler in CoX. I've been playing for near on 4 years. However, my recent interest is the upcoming Superhero MMO Champions Online. I've even been dubbed the walking FAQ due to my "extensive knowledge" on the subject. This thread is for you to ask whatever question you want about said game, so you don't have to dig through the site or official forums for it yourself. If I can, I'll simply edit the original posts to contain all the answers I give, so get asking and I'll answer as best I can up until official release, scheduled July 14th. (Update: September 1st) is there any kind of combination system, and whats the pace like for dual blade / swordfighting? If by combination system you mean like the CoH system, then there hasn't been one announced. As for the pace for sword combat, it's what makes Champions such an intriguing game. All frameworks (like powersets but more varied in abilities) have end-building attacks. For swords, you will simply do a light slash on the enemy. This means you will ALWAYS be attacks, followed by an end-using attack, like a PBAoE bladespin.

Regret to be saying this, but the new Champions release date is September 1st. That's an extra month and a half. Shame, but it does mean more time to polish the game.
